Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Download Buyurr from the App Store or Google Play, open it and tap "Create Account". Enter your name, email and a password. You'll receive a verification email — click the link to activate your account.
Is Buyurr free?
Yes! Buyurr is free with up to 20 pantry items and basic features. Premium plans start at $3.33/month (billed annually) and unlock unlimited items, household sharing, analytics, and more.
What devices does Buyurr support?
Buyurr is available on iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android. Your data syncs automatically across all your devices.
Household Sharing
How do I invite someone to my household?
Go to More → Household and tap the share button next to your invite code. This generates a link (https://buyurr.com/join/CODE) that you can send via any messaging app. When they tap it, it opens Buyurr and joins automatically.
Does one Premium subscription cover my whole household?
Yes! If any member of your household has an active Premium subscription, every member automatically gets access to all Premium features — at no extra cost.
How many people can be in one household?
Free accounts support 1 member. With Premium, you can have unlimited household members.
Pantry & Shopping
How does expiry tracking work?
When you add an item, you can set an expiration date. Buyurr automatically calculates urgency: items expiring today or tomorrow are marked "Urgent" (red), within a week as "Soon" (orange), and anything else as "Good" (green).
Can I add items to my shopping list from the pantry?
Yes! Open any pantry item and tap "Add to Shopping List". It pre-fills the name, unit and category automatically.
What happens when I check off a shopping item?
Checked items move to the "Purchased" section. You can then tap "Mark as Purchased & Add to Pantry" to automatically move the item back into your pantry stock.
Recipes
How do recipe suggestions work?
Buyurr looks at what's in your pantry and suggests recipes you can make with those ingredients. Items that expire soon are prioritized to help you use them before they go bad.
Can I share my own recipes?
Yes! Go to the Recipes tab and tap "Post". Fill in your recipe details and it'll be shared with the Buyurr community. Other users can save and make your recipe.
Premium & Billing
How do I upgrade to Premium?
Tap any Premium feature or go to More → Settings → Upgrade to Premium. Choose monthly ($5.99) or annual ($39.99) and complete the purchase through the App Store or Google Play.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (iOS) or Google Play → Subscriptions (Android) and cancel Buyurr Premium. You'll keep Premium features until the end of your billing period.
I lost my Premium after reinstalling. What do I do?
Go to More → Settings → Restore Purchases. Your Premium will be restored automatically using your App Store or Google Play account.
Privacy & Data
Is my data private?
Yes. Your pantry and shopping data is private to your household. Community recipes are the only data shared publicly. We never sell your personal data. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?
Go to More → Settings and scroll to the bottom. Tap "Delete Account". This permanently removes all your data. This action cannot be undone.
