1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Buyurr mobile application ("App") or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Buyurr is a household management application that helps users track pantry inventory, manage shopping lists, share household data with family members, and discover recipes. The Service includes both free and paid ("Premium") features.
3. Account Registration
To use Buyurr, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Buyurr.
4. Household Sharing
Buyurr allows you to create or join shared households. By sharing an invite code or link, you grant other users access to your household's pantry and shopping data. You are responsible for who you invite. Buyurr is not liable for any misuse of household data by members you have invited.
5. Premium Subscriptions
Buyurr offers Premium subscriptions on a monthly ($5.99/month) or annual ($39.99/year) basis. Premium benefits extend to all members of your household while the subscription is active.
- Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Refunds are subject to App Store / Google Play policies
- Cancelling a subscription removes Premium access at the end of the paid period
6. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit (recipes, notes, etc.). By posting to the Buyurr community, you grant Buyurr a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the Service. You may not post content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes third-party rights.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others
- Scrape or harvest data from the Service
- Share invite codes publicly to add strangers to your household without consent
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Buyurr does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that expiry dates and nutritional information will be accurate. Always use your own judgment regarding food safety.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buyurr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to food spoilage, foodborne illness, or loss of data.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without notice.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
